A botanical paradise and international learning center, the Arboreto is also a satellite location of the MUSE - Science Museum of Trento.(www.mtsn.tn.it) The Arboretum is an edge of the ancient park that the Archduke Albert of Habsburg had created in the town of Arco around his villa in 1872. It is located in Via Lomego, following the direction to Laghel.

  • Tourist Office APT Ingarda Trentino - the tourist office is available for more information on local services and attractions (as for example events, boat and ferry timetables, trekking paths, climbing, mountain-bike routes, etc.).   • Friends of Arco - (www.friendsofarco.it) It is a group of experienced mountain guides, which offers a range of organized activities in total safety. The weekly program is guaranteed without a minimum number of participants. The programs include: climbing, trekking, iron-ladder climbing, canyoning, kid's climbing, canoeing, mountain-biking, family adventures, rafting, hydro-speed, and paragliding. The group also offers shuttle bus services for bike downhill excursions and to the main airports in the area.

  • From the cultural and historic point of view:
    • The Ledro Lake is an archeological site with prehistoric settlements (www.palafitteledro.it). The center organizes teaching groups for kids.
    • The lower-Sarca area (just north of the Garda Lake) has been a strategic area during 1st World War. A dedicated museum can be visited inside the Rovereto Castle (www.museodellaguerra.it)
    • An important art museum is also located in Rovereto – (www.mart.trento.it)
  • Care to play some beach volley? The Villa Cian beach in Torbole can be easily reached by car or bike, and offers beach volley grounds. In Torbole it is also possible to play mini golf on a dedicated course.
  • Other natural attractions - Well renowned in the area, are the waterfalls Cascate del Varone - (www.cascata-varone.com).
  • For winter holidays the Trentino region offers several top class ski resorts.
    Only 40 min by car from Arco is the Polsa/San Valentino resort - (www.brentonicoski.com)
    Other resorts are Madonna Di Campiglio, Pinzolo, Altopiano di Folgaria, etc.
  • The May Park Bordala is located just 30 minutes by car from Arco. It is a fun park both for winter and summer activities. In the winter, a small lift allows to enjoy the snow with rafters, sleighs and bobsleds. Trampolines and inflatable toys are also available. (www.baitabordala.com)
  • In winter time, an ice ring is open in Fiavè – only 30 minutes by car.
  • Within one hour by car it is also possible to reach three of the most renowned fun parks in Italy, all located in the south of the Garda Lake: Gardaland fun park, Caneva World water park, and the zoological garden Parco Natura Viva in Pastrengo.
